TESTIMONIALS

"A breath of fresh air within an easy drive from State College, PA."

"Halfmoon Creek Farm is tucked away down a long, private drive opening up to 6 well-maintained mid-size grass pastures, even after all of the torrential rain we have seen here in Centre County, with plenty of grass and clean water troughs placed conscientiously in every field, where horses enjoy ample time outside each day weather permitting. It is easy to get your horse out of their field without having to worry about other horses if they are out when you arrive.

Shannon provides exceptional care to each and every horse, and keeps the 12 stall- with attached regulation dressage dimensions, indoor riding ring with well-maintained footing, in impeccable, clean condition. She and her husband, Cody are on onsite and providing hands-on care daily, including when the unpredictable happens.

When I walk in I am greeted by my horse as he sticks his head out of the drop-down gate of his oversize, well-ventilated stall. There is plenty of room to place him on break away cross-ties in the wide aisle and I never need to wait for my turn. There is a real, clean bathroom with access to a washer and dryer, as well as a fully functional wash rack with both hot and cold water and ample pressure.

Having ridden, myself, with some of the best hunter, jumper and equitation trainers in the world and having competed at the top level horse shows such as Devon, The National Horse Show-Madison Square Garden, and the Hampton Classic, I know how important it is to have not only quality care, but a responsive and professional barn owner. I feel comfortable knowing my horse is in consistent good hands and can be ridden at the level I expect when I cannot make it out to the barn.

As a working professional with a hectic schedule, Halfmoon Creek Farm and Shannon’s attention to detail make it a peaceful and welcome atmosphere for me to come ride, groom and enjoy my horse after a long day or week."
